I’ve worked on the World Rallycross Championship since it began in 2014. This job is less demanding than my usual work so the Zaxcom gear stays at home. I use a trusty SQN with a selection of radio mics, portable recorder, stick mics, and some Sennheiser G3s for more general use by the crew. I booked myself a few days off before and after the event, for a bit of sight seeing. I was able to climb Table Mountain and also see a bit of the centre of Capetown.
